Procede spedito il lavoro dei 5 da Oxford sul nuovo album che potrebbe arrivare nei negozi nella primavera del prossimo anno accompagnato da “chiacchiere eccitanti che riguardano i concerti, è molto bello avere un progetto”; la scrittura è quella del bassista Colin Greenwood il quale ha postato il messaggio sul seguitissimo diario di bordo “Dead Air Space”.
Album e tour già fissati per il prossimo album, ma i Radiohead sono senza contratto discografico, non che questa situazione li impensierisca più di tanto, troveranno sicuramente un accordo una volta terminate le registrazioni ma è possibile una svolta ‘differente' rispetto ai canonici accordi artista-etichetta.
Secondo alcune fonti vicine al gruppo la ricerca del contratto non è in cima alla lista di cose da fare ed è da escludere una firma con la Warner Music, fino a qualche settimana fa la major in pole position per assicurarsi i Radiohead.
Yorke e Soci sono entrati in studio lo scorso 18 Agosto e fino ad oggi hanno registrato una decina di brani e appuntato una quantità incredibile di idee, tutte regolarmente annotate nella lavagna.

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke has given an update on their new album -- and joked that sessions are going so badly the band is "splitting up".
The band is busy at work in the studio laying down tracks for the eagerly awaited follow-up to the 2003 album "Hail To The Thief". In a typically off-kilter post, Yorke joked: "It is the end of our two week session. We're splitting up its all shit. We're washed up. Finished. Only kidding.
"It was fun. Some of it has been really great fun. And there were moments that stick in my head when I went 'TUNE!' 'TUNE!'"
Guitarist Ed O’Brian hinted that the band have nearly reached completion of the new track "Bodysnatchers." In his post he said: "Friday night the end of a two week session. Riffs and fragments of the songs going round my head. It's been great. It's always difficult to judge right now but I think we may have got 'Bodysnatchers'.
"Had a couple of sticky days at the beginning of the week but saw it through. On a roll now. Lots of stuff to be done yet, but so far so good. The studio is fab, its so good to play in and listen. You know what works and what doesn't."

Nel miglior disco uk ho votato the bends all'inizio...e nel ballottaggio Ok computer perchè voglio far vincere i Radiohead...
DEI DISCHI USCITI NEI 90...
Io penso che The bends e Ok computer...siano secondi solo a IN UTERO,MELLON COLLIE AND THE INFINITE SADNESS,NEVERMIND,DIRT,UNPLUGGED (ALICE IN CHAINS)...dico solo perchè sono tutti dei capolavori questi album...li inserirei tutti nell prima posizione...difficile scegliere...
OK COMPUTER E THE BENDS...quando sono usciti erano la speranza del rock...come tutt'ora lo sono ancora i Radiohead...
AMNESIAC mi piace tanto...come kid A e pablo Honey...ma l'ultimo non mi attira molto...forse dovrei ascoltarlo meglio...
Cmq non sò chi votare per ora...

adesso che ho sentito tutto per bene posso dire che a mio parere Ok Computer è nettamente superiore al resto dei dischi pubblicati dai nostri amici
